Worth knowing
The machine was designed by John Carter in Rockhampton, Queensland in 1982, with the first production machine in 1987. Ownership has changed several times: Sapphire Engineering bought the patent in July 2000, production ceased in March 2017, and Matt and Kerry Young have run the business since March 2020. The site does not state where the machines are manufactured.
